My parents will be paying for myself and my girlfriend to travel to England for a short holiday. They can provide bank statements. Will this be acceptable to proving adequate funds? My girlfriend and I can not show any meaningful income or bank balances.

Yes they can, if you are staying with them they need to add a sentence in a covering letter explaining so and confirming suitable accomodation is availabe.

Your girlfriend still needs to satisfy the decision maker of her ties to Thailand, if you're living here then you can use that as part of her evidence, better still if you're able to show you're living together here and any evidence of your employment here would be a plus.

Perfect thanks. Yeah, I'm able to show evidence of our life in Thailand, and reason to return etc. It's just the adequate funds area I'm worried about
