Something about the Chestnut Mare?

Yeah, Chestnut Mare was an FM hit around the time he was recording that album.

The Byrds made Tambourine Man a hit before most people knew who this Dylan fellow was.  So I'm guessing some kind of love/hate between the two.

I fell off from Dylan after Blonde on Blonde.  Looking back it was a weird time, musical legends (Dylan and Miles Davis) started putting out records and their fans were saying "what is this ____ ?"

Late 1969 there was an interview in Rolling Stone (guess I should look it up), his first since The Accident.  I read and said "enough of this guy."

But I do like a few Blood on the Tracks cuts (no pun intended).

edit:  hey, found that interview

I'm saving it for now, hadn't read that thing in 49 years!

And by the way, Dylan and Miles were both on the same label.

Fisherman's Blues is one of my faves.  They're a tight band, but I hate the lead singer (I usually do, it started with The Cream back when).

The association I was thinking of it this guy

Scotts ego does take some getting used to..but what a writer ...his w.b.Yates Stolen child cover was magical .

People call me Jake the Peg (with an extra leg). Very cruel. Nobody realises what a burden my extra leg can be.

Funny you should bring that up, just saw a short documentary on George Clinton yesterday.  I was out of the US a good part of the 1970s, I missed all that.

Yeah, it seems like a kissin' cousin to funk. Like Psychedelic Soul, P Funk, G Funk, Metal Funk. Good stuff. Good times, and I don't even dance..
