As for "we" (who?) - not to completely discredit "we"'s informed views, but "nothing to do with" is a stretch. To remind, it's not as is the US was of a single-mind regarding the value of the Iran Deal, and its not like everyone in the US is on-board with Trump pulling out of it. As for the European position being all about money? Well, economy does play a part, sure. Saying it's the only thing? Quite out there.

It might have been Beto but he lost. He may run for another senate seat in 2020. There is some buzz about a Biden Beto presidential ticket in 2020. The actual answer is Obama was that before and now things are to be determined.
