You go to the end of Walking Street and there is a developed pier area, including stalls that sell tickets to Koh Larn. I've never been, but it's cheap to get there from that location.

I used to occasionally go to Koh Larn for day trips with fishing, but 10 years or so ago.

You could book with many of the (farang) bars, it was (then) 300bt.  Pick-up from the beach at 7am, a few hours of fishing in the morning, simple lunch of fried rice plus whatever you'd caught, and then spend the afternoon on one of the beaches, getting back at around 6pm.

No idea if similar things are still going, or at what cost, but it was always a fun day out.... if the fish were biting.

If fishing is not your thing then the ferry at the pier is an easier option.

Seriously asking: is it still worth going there?

It is also about 10 years that I was there and what I read in the news does not motivate me to go there.
