Girl From Nowhere

Recommended Posts

I'm watching this on Netflix Canada in all its subtitled glory. I'm on the 10th episode now.

I recommend you have a look at this. It's about a girl called Nanno who is a student, but in every episode she changes schools. She is some form of a devil, no doubt that brings out the worst in people, but in reality it's really a commentary about Thai education system. I mean, every form of corruption is shown in this series. The series is aimed at younger audience, but it still worth watching.

Thank you for the suggestion, but for me, i live the local corruption and frustrating ineptitude system everyday, painfully aware of it and worse, paying for it, and to watch a movie bring it alive it will be too much...

So, what's your fix?

Art house AV cinema from Japan?

I could recommend a few....

No, nothing like that. With the excellent dramas, documentaries and music stuff on UK terrestrial TV, and movies from Exrtatorrents, I have all I need. The Little Drummer Girl on BBC1 tonight, great.
