How do I transfer money back to the UK?

I have been living in Thailand part time for quite a few years. I have also been working outside of Thailand but have had all of my earnings deposited into my Thai bank account. I would now like to move some of this money back to the UK. Does anyone know the best method to do this. I made asked this question at my local bank and they could not answer my question or provide any guidance. Thanks

Where abouts are you?

I ask this because I am about to transfer some cash over and we could arrange a swap but I am in Korat, so you would need to be here. Not a huge amount though.....about 3 thousand quid, but I could transfer it to your uk bank instead of here.
