The Neo-Imperialist was Serious About Stealing Greenland
Well think about it. They are seeing their cousins (actual and figurative) basicly owning a whole state: Free Medical Care A piece of all the resource money Cash from a Sovereign fund Free college education Guaranteed jobs A big city Racism in their favour as to hunting, whaling, etc. Political power The ability to live their lives as THEY chose without state interference. The ability to influence NATIONAL politics beyond their numbers. What have the Danes done for Greenland? Start a Sovereign Wealth fund? Infrastructure? Resource development.? Do they even have an International Airport near a capital city with modern hospital? A deepwater port? Greenland is what Alaska was in 1941. I bet the Greenlanders would overwhelmingly vote to be a US state. -

Did We Really Land on the Moon?
I agree with you about the loonies and their distrust of complicated things like physics and science... however I don't see the benefit of greatly exaggerating the importance of the moon landing. It's far, far from Humankind's greatest achievement. I would rate the development of agriculture or the advancement of medical knowledge as much more beneficial. -
