Actually, she hates bread. Says it feels funny in her mouth. I recall about a decade ago some controversy over using a cell phone in a restaurant. Owners of decent restaurants, were asking people not to use them so as not to disturb other diners. That reticence died hard and fast. Anything convenient quickly supplants Whatever antique courtesy was in place before it. Time in the elevator is no longer dead space. It’s sandwich viewing opportunity time. What’s not to like?
