I was thinking next time I need a new pump maybe get a solar powered one does anybody here have one? if so how is it working and how much did you pay?

3 years ago when I lived at another house I was quoted around 100k Baht, That was way to expensive

Forum sponsor swimmingpoolsthailand do them but there's no prices on their website which invariably means $$$.

 

Assuming you have mains power I'd be installing a grid-tie solar system and offsetting the power consumption of a regular pump.

Cheers for that maybe Ill look into installing solar panels if its affordable
