I had an implant done about 3 years ago on my lower jaw and now it's coming loose. Can anyone recommend and really good dental surgeon in Pattaya who has experience reparation of failed implants? Thanks

Get an xray done and take it from there, if its the crown then that can be replaced by most dentists, but if its the implant it will have to come out and be started again, you cannot repair a loose implant.  If it is the implant as its already been in for three years its safe to assume it was done correctly and has loosened due to disease which needs to be treated asap to avoid you loosing all your teeth and implants.

My implant peg came loose but luckily that was just the top screw-in part but even then it was not a simple process to reset it. Sterilization of that peg etc. and then some not too pleasant work left me in some pain for a few days. I would get it looked at very quickly and if a totally new implant is needed then there are a few places in Pattaya that can help. My work was done in Bangkok. Good luck.

Three years is not great.

The person who fitted it should repair/replace it.

One of mine failed after ten years and the original implantologist fixed it. But I had to wait three months for the bone to regrow.

Anyway, the best person to see, in your case, is the experienced Implantologist and Oral Surgeon, Paweenwan Suwangatte at Phyathai Hospital in Sri Racha.

Don't bother going anywhere else.

Gavin can make you an appointment if you cannot do it for yourself; http://www.phyathai-sriracha.com/pytsweb_eng/index.php?page=menupage/menu-foreign

If the screw came loose it is the dentist’s fault.

If the implant came loose it is still likely the dentist’s fault, unless you are a smoker and did not tell the dentist, or told the dentist you quit and did not.
