Crack down on the many, many smoke belching diesel vehicles with broken or removed particle filters instead. Good lord, man, how hard can it be to get to that conclusion.

There aren't that many, Thailand is way ahead of the USA with the NPG etc burning semis, diesel burns cleaner than some cars no lead... Time to put scrubbers on the factory/Garbage dump smoke stacks. I live just over a km south of a dump and this time of year with the wind out of the North the smoke comes in the no glass kitchen window (the way it was built) only 5 stories up and the A/C at night drips black filmy water. The dump smoke stack isn't even seen over the 6-7 story buildings and no scrubbers on any smoke stacks at the factories around here. Pure black smoke when they fire up in the morning at the factories.

And a million new vehicles set to hit the streets in the next year.  An alternative to the fossil fuel engine is desperately needed.

Agree, I think the page referring to Injectors cleaning was torn out of the manual.

What is criminal is the lack of Air quality monitoring outside of the metropolitan areas. The whole of Isaan has just ONE monitoring station in Khonkaen. Who knows what we breathe here.

Perhaps they could raise the fees at immigration to fund the purchase and installation of high end AQM equipment.

But then would anyone complaining about the air quality believe anything the Thai government told them about it?
