Kasikorn Research Centre expects tourism spending from December 28 to January 1, to be worth about Bt47.43 billion, up 9.3 per cent from the same period of last year.

Tourism growth in the new year season will be boosted by both domestic and overseas tourists. The country would also gain from the government’s policy to promote the tourism sector, especially the free visa-on-arrival scheme, the research said.

And when they were up, they were up

And when they were down, they were up

And when they were neither up nor down, they were up.

Brought to you by the Grand Old Duke of York, head statistician for TAT.

Can I be the first to say I will not respond to this announcement?

And I just won the $50,000,000 lottery (note: dollars, not Thai baht). That's twice now !

More TAT bulls##t

Really !   ????‍♀️

Tourists spend money during high season. Didn’t see that coming.

This release is almost as good as the royal rain making machine creating rain during the wet season on days when the forecast says it will rain.
