February 21, 200719 yr Awhile back, many people responded to my questions about receiving a 3-month education visa. I'm happy to report I had no trouble at all. I attend the AUA Thai Language Program and must attend classes at least 15 hours a week, but the days and hours are very flexible. The school gave me a letter and a copy of their license. I also included my receipts and copies of any progress reports I received. It cost 2000 for single-entry and 5000 baht for multiple entry. If you go to Laos, there's a visa fee of 1800baht to enter Laos, but no additional fees to re-enter Thailand. Also, please be wary of the guys in front of the Thai embassy offering to fill out the paperwork for you. They wanted to charge me 3600 baht for a single-entry visa and they filled out the paperwork wrong. I took the paperwork they started on and walked in myself, got another form and did it all within 30 minutes. When I walked out, they were busy with three other people. The time you suppose to save with these guys could cost you not getting a visa. Good luck and thank you for all of your help!!! Paying it forward, Helena
