snoop1130
Bangkok building collapse injured two By The Nation A building in Bangkok's Soi Ramkhamhaeng 51/2 area, which was in process of demolition, collapsed on Monday afternoon resulting in two passer-by persons' injuries. Following the 1.25pm collapse, police and rescue workers quickly sealed the scene to make way for a search if any more person were trapped amid the debris, while police and volunteers directed traffic flows away from the congested area in front of this building on Ramkhamhaeng Road. As the probe into the collapse at this building - which used to be an old cinema - was ongoing, police suspected that it might result from the ongoing demolition work. The collapse's impact caused the building that used to be a five-storey structure to appear to have three storeys, said a reporter of the FM91 Trafficpro who shared the Facebook Live broadcast from the area. A rescue worker told the broadcast that it was unlikely anyone would be trapped inside although officials were checking as of the time. TallGuyJohninBKK
Attempted building demolitions in Thailand often seem to go awry... Perhaps owing to a lack of attention to details, a lack of regulation, a lack of engineering expertise being used on the projects, a lack of properly trained workers, etc etc...

Aussieroaming
What I really liked about this was the number of people rushing to help the injured. Well done to all of those decent people.
