A Hirsute Falang

Featured Replies

I've been semi - retired now for nearly 5 months. I haven't cut my hair in nearly a year and it is gloriously long and soft and I love feeling it on my shoulders. However, my stepdaughter has said to me 'why don't you cut yer hair?', and my wife appears to not want to be associated with me in the supermarket sumtimes. I know that asians are conformist and eccentricities are frowned upon...but within my own family??? gimme a break...I get alot of giggles from shop girls an' de ladies in the market but, as a big fat falang riding a cheap push bike these are to be expected, regardless of hair length...the men withhold their derision as they know that I make a lot more money than they do...

so...the question arises...are bearded, long haired falangs to be derrided by shopgirls and shunned by family or must we maintain a standard of asian decorum that is acceptable to one an' all?

I try to mind my own business but to no avail...an' end up here by de laptop howling impotent rage to falangs on thaivisa... :o
