FYI! I use budsget from time to time with a Fast Break acct and Thai DL and got hosed off week before last. I had made a res for HKT and then cancelled due to chinese New Year. Made a second res in Patong but the did have an SUV so I cancelled that..Well, seems the computer decided to charge me for the full cost of the rentals and the Deposit. Firstly, Fast Break (in thailand acct only) doesn't get a deposit as we get better insurance because you must possess a thai DL and presumably will have fewer accidents etc.

Any Way....It hit myU.S. CC which is a back up to my Bank of Bangkok Card for about 3KUSD....Now they were very nice and did fax my US Bank etc however in was a little nuts even I have a no limit Visa. A coupd of day later I was in BKK and went over to RCA where Budget has their main office only to learn that a few more "reservations" had been made in my Fast Break Acct??????

I'll be not making any online reservations with Fast Break for a while!

If you make reservation via www.budget.com it seems to be cheaper quotes and no need to give a credit card number.....

Their Thai website is often down and quotes are erratic at best

\I though so to but guess not ...Fast Break is cheapest of all! I guess I will do walk up getting the fast break rate!
