Video: Why Somchai was "chilling" on the roof of his BMW in the Thai traffic....

Thai media attempted to explain why a BMW driver called Somchai was filmed sitting on the roof of his BMW in traffic in Pathum Thani.

The best they could come up with after thousands online said "WTF??" was that he was chilling out on the roof of his car looking at another vehicle involved in a collision.

A video showed that the red plate black BMW had a scratch down the left side. Still photography from Daily News showed there had been a collision.

Pol Col Samith Sarot of the Kukotr, Pathum Thani police said the incident involved Piya Sukniyom in a white Toyota Commuter van with Chacherngsao plates, Phaitoon Nawong in a brown Nissan with Bangkok plates and  Somchai Seujindaporn in a Black BMW with Kanchanaburi plates.

The two drivers of the Nissan and BMW had been charged with inconsiderate driving causing trouble for other motorists.

Both their cars had been impounded as evidence in the case.

Just because he is perched up there, does not confirm he is a bird brain...but there is a slight possibility of this.

Funny, his name actually is Somchai. When I read it at first, I thought the news source was was making sarcastic fun using the generic term for a Thai male.

They won't move their cars if in an accident until the insurance man arrives....freeway or soi....dopey as oxen!

Insurance company reps want to see the position of the cars in the case of fender benders.

In Thailand it's not a good idea to move your car probably because it might be assumed you did so to cover up your mistake.

( Don't blame me, I don't make the rules ???????? )
