Pattaya: Restaurant cashier reports burglary at The Majestic condo

 

 

Police were called to The Majestic condo in Soi Wat Bunkarnjanaram after a report that a cashier at a North Pattaya restaurant had been burgled. 

 

Jakor Jawa,40, from Chiang Rai said he was responsible for the restaurant's takings. 

 

When he got back to Room 361 around midnight this morning he found the door open and contents inside had been rifled through. 

 

 

Missing was a diamond ring worth 300,000 baht, 300,000 baht in cash from a drawer and 100,000 baht in restaurant takings that was "hidden" in a wardrobe. 

 

Police found the key to the room in the condo and no signs of forced entry. 

 

Asked why the key may be there Jakor said he had no idea. 

 

He then said that two people had been arrested. Asked by the police who they were he was vague, saying they were employees at the restaurant. 

 

Police are investigating, said Rak Siam News, saying they are going on a hunch that the burglars knew the exact movements of the cashier.

 

Clearly suspecting an inside job the cops said they would have it wrapped up in a week.

You have max 15000 b pr months and you had value for 600000 b
