Plaster Cast Removal

Featured Replies

My sister-in-law needs to have a plaster cast on her arm removed.

The cast was put on in a hospital in Isaan but she is now in Jomtien.

Can anyone recommend a clinic that can do this - rather than go through the palaver of registering at a hospital.

Any government hospital and won't kill your wallet - prob about 1k baht

Ha ! i did this myself years ago with a pair of pliers , broken leg job, the doctor went nutts but i did solve that grating itch ploblem FOR FREE !.

Sounds excessive. I used to do that. Took about 15 minutes with a special plaster saw.

As a Dr is way cheaper than that, why would a nurse removing a cast cost so much at a government hospital? Do the poor Thais have that sort of money?
