Problems With Yahoo?

Featured Replies

Is anyone having problems with Yahoo this evening. For the past 3-Hours, I haven't been able to access anything from Yahoo. What is driving me nuts right now is that when I try to access my email, Firefox will eventually shut down and the error report screen comes up. Other sites are no problem at all. I've used Opera, and even IE. They don't close down, but nothing on Yahoo. I've never had Firefox shut down like this either. Suggestions?

Not exactly the same problem as you -- I can access Yahoo, but the mail messages are all empty, literally. I forward all Yahoo mail to GMail, which is currently fine.

Or, you could try mail2web.com, which always seemed to be able get my Yahoo mail when I couldn't do so directly myself.

Thanks! I'll certainly give that a try.

I just realized that mail2web.com won't work unless you have a premium Yahoo account; also, the free Yahoo account doesn't come with a pop.mail.yahoo.com (POP3) server, and so doesn't allow forwarding (say, to GMail) or retrieving Yahoo mail from clients like Outlook. (I was just trying to set up my wife's free Yahoo account to send to GMail and came across this problem.)

I'm going to try YPOPS! at http://ypopsemail.com to see if it can bypass the pop3 server.
