Pattaya City Resort

On Soi Baukhao, opposite Diana Millennium, is a piece of land on which there was going to be a condo development called "Pattaya City Resort". Nothing has happened for years (4 years at least) - presumably never will now.

Anyone know what happened to this development? More importantly, is there any link between this defuct development and the "Pattaya City Resort" currently being marketed on South Road.? There must be some concern here!

As far as I know the one proposed opposite Diana Millenium went tits up, but its not clear whether this is the same developer or just shares the same name. What I do know is that the developer for the one on south pattaya road is called "Pattaya City 2005 Co., Ltd". In any event I know they are both Thai Developers and I know that the building permits for the new one on south pattaya road are not yet issued.
