I am trying to get the price of a return flight from Bangkok to Glasgow on the BA website.

Maybe I'm missing something, but they give you the price and tell you it does not include taxes etc.

Then it says "continue", so I click on "continue". Then it tells me I have clicked on "outward bound".

Is flying from Bangkok to Glasgow not "outward bound"?

Nowhere does it tell you the full price as I cannot get past "outward Bound".

Anyone else tried to book a flight on the BA website? This is so confusing.

If you want return, you need to select the return journey also, then full price with taxes are shown...BTW, taxes seem to more than double the price with BA,

I suppose they are, but what counts is the full price of the flight. I selected the return journey, but I

will go and check again. Thanks.

Watch out for the bag or no bag option on price that they added last year if you want to take one????

I will. Thanks.

I did select the return journey, and there is no way I can get the full price.

It's debatable whether the BA website is easy to use, but somehow it works. Flight selection is a bit awkward.

(not on optimal connection on return, just an arbitrary example)

What I do.

Select dates.

Then click here:

And then in this low-key "Select" box(!):

(other parts can not be clicked, a bit poor to my opinion)

Then repeat for the Return and after a few seconds the total price is shown as seen in previous post.

While searching on this route I did not see an offer without bag.

Maybe it applies to domestic and European flights only?

No London Bangkok now shows "baggage not included" on most of the consolidator sites. I understand its £75 if you click through to include checked bags.

Which is why the consolidators are able to offer "attractive" prices -

Best book directly with the airline

There is two prices one with one without a lot of the cheap deals from skycanner etc always look good as they all list the no bag option first????

Your right, the BA website is very awkward, why can they not just give you the full price, they must lose a lot of customers with this carry on.

Indeed, I have seen better. But after many years in SW testing I got hardened.

Perhaps only offered on flights leaving the U.K. or on certain routes.
