Mail Service from USA to Thailand. - Suggestions?

Recommended Posts

I have some mail that is in the USA that I want to have mailed to Thailand.  It includes some documents that I dont wish to lose.  What would be the best way to have them shipped to Thailand?  U.S. postal service, Fed Ex, UPS, or DHL?   Has anyone had any positive or for that matter negatives with using one service versus another?

If it's vital documents any of the courier services will do the trick.

Anything else use a USPS tracked service for a good shot at avoiding customs duties.

packages have been sent to me from all those services usps fedex ups dhl. I say all are fine, its a matter of price time etc dependent on where its from and weight. In general mail being received by me in thailand had had zero issues in 3 years

Will USPS still have tracking once the letter enters Thailand?

I would doubt it.  When I have used USPS in the USA to ship to Norway once it left custom it was gone for good.  Literally.

I can't guarantee USPS, but certainly the more expensive Royal Mail tracked service can be tracked in Thailand.

I expect USPS have a simialr service.

YES USPS will track through Thailand.

My experience has been to enter the USPS tracking number into the Thai post office tracking system and then follow it to delivery.  Vice versa for tracking mail from Thailand to the U.S.
