March 4, 200719 yr Under message setup you neet to enter the phone number +66818310808 I had the same problem when some nitwit reset my phone to defautl settings, I had my wife call 1-2 call for help and they were as usless as they always were, saying it is a problem with my phone. I had to figure it out myself by checking my wife's phone. Now if someone could give me the number to enter for voice mail I would be happy.
March 4, 200719 yr I have the same number in my phone but for ages I cant send sms in thailand only to the uk. I also cant send mms in thailand whats the problem?
March 4, 200719 yr better go to an AIS-shop and try to get it fixed there (I suppose u stay in Thailand right now). I had OK-experiences at their outlets in Mall Bangkapi, Seacon and Central Bangna. But always depends who's on duty..... if its a "girls-only" shift, its probably useless (no, I have nothing against girls, just my experiences there). but all those outlets had Thai-Chinese guys sometimes, who spoke enough english to communicate, and I always got my problems (MMS settings, for example) fixed.
March 5, 200719 yr Now if someone could give me the number to enter for voice mail I would be happy. For 1-2-Call you access voicemail by dialing *99 from your phone. You have to register for voicemail, which can be done remotely via SMS but I can't remember the coding sequence. Always best to dial 1175, press 2 for an English-speaking CSR and they can help with any problem, issue or question. Re: voicemail it sounds as though they cut over to a new system in the last week as the prompts are different and there is an option to listen to your old messages which links you back to the previous system. There have been several reports about SMS delivery problems here on the forum, but not so many to indicate some sort of system-wide issue. For now I'd chalk those up to several factors including mis-addressing, wrong message centre settings and the occasional dropping of messages as they pass through gateways; the service is not guaranteed.
