I beg the indulgence of moderators for using the forum as a depository. I tried to post this comment on You Tube but it took so long for it to clear censorship that I gave up.

 

It was not UKIP’s presence in the EU Parliament but the fear of patriotism which opened up the prospect of leaving Europe. Patriotism which in spite of the establishment’s opposition to it still attracts significant numbers of ordinary people of all ethnicities and religions. The EU way is undemocratic, the debacle we have in Parliament and the bias in the media shows up the way our democracy has been eroded by our membership.
