A Pheu Thai Party member on Wednesday demanded that the Election Commission (EC) organise a re-election in Samut Prakan province, citing irregularities in many constituencies.

Chatchai na Bangchang filed the complaint with the EC on behalf of Nuntawan Prasobdee, a Pheu Thai candidate for Constituency 7.

He claimed that there were suspected irregularities in at least 12 polling stations such as voting results submitted to the EC headquarters did not match those displayed at the polling stations themselves.

For instance, he said, 694 voters had shown up to exercise their rights at a polling station, but there were 695 ballots in the boxes.

Chatchai also submitted video clips and photographs to EC representatives to substantiate his claims.

I think he might need more than a discrepancy of one to get a re-election.

It's annoying, not winning a majority.

Honest defeats, whilst bitter, can be accepted.

Do you think this is a case of an honest defeat?

Bet you understand the term 'for instance'. There are irregularities in at least 12 polling stations alleged.

The cheaters have been caught...........again.

Ha ha!

The cheaters claim to have caught others cheating!

Perhaps it was some PTP MP's voting for "absent colleagues" at the poll boxes rather than in parliament this time! 555!

PTP had irregularities in the voting practices when in government. Wouldn't know the truth if it bit them.

Why would any sane person take their word for anything? That's the problem with compulsive liars.

The words "honest" and "PTP" - now there's an oxymoron!

More like the jaywalker complaining about the murder.

You're going to have to start adding Future Forward to your pro-junta nonsense posts as they are also on the pro-democracy side you so despise. I know why you don't mention them, it exposes your "but, but Thaksin" garbage for the nonsense it is.

How about "honest" and Phalang Pracharat........oxymoron or not?

There has been 7 elections/votes since Thaksin first became PM in 2001.

The 5 (2001, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2011) that Thaksin won were by far the freest and fairest and the only ones that allowed independent international observers.

The 2 (2015 constitution referendum and 2019 general election) that the pro-junta "won" were easily the most corrupted.

So again, like the proverbial broken record, you continue to vomit ridiculous hypocrisy on how evil Thaksin is whilst completely ignoring the junta's manifestly worse record.

BTW - Would the 6 million young Future Forward voters know the truth if it bit them???

Couldn't have been.

The NLA consists entirely of junta appointed stooges.

I'm sure it not as annoying as being unable to win in your own rigged election.
