Guesthouse/hotel near Hua Lamphong/Si Lom MRT

Featured Replies

I wanted to see if anyone reading this has stayed or can recommend a hotel or guesthouse in Bangkok between Hua Lamphong and Silom MRT stations (or near Sala Daeng BTS)

- Doesn't have to be directly adjacent MRT/BTS.  Walking distance or short motorbike taxi away is ok.

- a/c, private shower.

- size of room or views are not too important.

- Budget: under 1200 baht per room if possible.  Any limitations on kids or maximum # of people per room would be helpful.

- plan to go early next week or maybe the week after Monday, Tues, and/or Wed evening.

Nothing?   Is this posted in the wrong sub-forum?

The common answer has been given to you a-plenty on TA: most knowledgeable people in BKK live there in their own homes and thus cannot know much about inside of placestostay.

Booking or agoda (is the same in ASEAN) has excellent tools and maps to point it all to you. And for just 1 or maybe 2 nights-you will survive even a bad place.

tipically travellers/bekpekkers who know the better answers hardly ever share their self-experienced reviews-nor will you-would you ever look at same-same Qs on this forum once you have slept there? When passing by on the bus I noted dozens of recently opened new places there-so enough choice.

Oh-and for bekpek-diehards there is also travelfish.

maybe get ahead of the curve and use the bang su station and its surrounds.

bed by city hotel, less than 1200B per night comes with breakfast also.

15mins walk to BTS Sala Daeng
