Don't know for sure but, going up 2nd road from Pattaya South x roads, on your right (100m or so from the traffic lights) are 2 or 3 shops that sell games etc, or you could try the IT shopping centre on Pattaya South, between 2nd and 3rd road, is it called IT City, I forget, long time since I've been there, if not Bangkok is where I got mine chipped :o

get an xbit chip - easy to install and no solder. stuff any old hdd in (got a 120Gb in mine) and get "slayers installer 2.6" cd image from #xbins on efnet. it's well documented on the web and easy enough for the novice to grasp.

if you are refering to the 360 on the other hand, forget it....the OS ties the drive to manufacturer and size...

The chip depends on S/N of the XBOX, mine was imported from England, and no one had a chip for it, had to get the chip from Hong Kong...... The HDD needs to be "Lockable" if you plan on using Xbox Live.

Please note it is not against the law to copy games you already own (for back-up purposes) and there for licensed, the above site doesn't in anyway endorse illegal copying, so I do believe the link is valid.

chip *type* depends on board revision - most chips accomodate all revisions of the board. sure if you want to play live then you need one that can be disabled - but then there is Kai Xlink.

anyways in this day and age, a chipped xbox 1 is only useful for XMBC (comes with slayers).

and we are not talking about copy games - this makes baby jesus cry :o

Neither am I, however the site I posted does, but only for the reasons stated, more a statement for the mods than anything else.... :o:D

If need a chip, let me know I export them, can also install them if you want....

But easier is if I send you one and you let a shop put them in, very easy to do....

HD as well....
