Following the river...

Featured Replies

Greetings, a couple of years back, I cycled from BKK to Ayutthya and noticed that once you got to Bang-pa in, you could follow the river. It was a pleasant part of the journey for sure. I was having a good look at that a few days ago. It appears that there are a few roads that follow the river to Ang Thong, one of the few places I've never been to. Has anyone cycled up to Ang Thong? It looks like a pleasant little ride.

If you follow the river you should be blessed with a remarkable absence of hills.

It was flat all the way to Ayutthya but that's partly why that area is considered to be a basin by some I thought. I just remember it being a bit cooler and many of the temples by it were different. In its own little way it was quite scenic.
