A terminally ill HIV couple, in Phutabat in Chondan district of Thailand’s Phetchabun province, say they felt better after being treated with cannabis oil for nine days.

After previously being treated with modern medicines, the wife was found lying unconscious showing little or no response. She started to move again after applying the cannabis oil for nine days, and 24 days later she was able to sit, talk and undertake some self-help activities.

She suggested that authorities should allow access to medicinal cannabis, and to have at least one farm per sub-district.

"and the plant can be boiled and drank as tea to help relieve hypertension."

I would have thought that was pretty obvious. I assumed it made everyone really relaxed.

From illegal drug to universal medicine in a heartbeat.

Illegal drug = THC - Universal medicine = CBD

Yep! but they love to state the obvious anyway. Queen Victoria used to drink it regularly.

There still seem to be a lot of misconceptions about CBD about. Perhaps this needs to be restated:

"Both CBD and THC have significant therapeutic attributes. But unlike THC, CBD does not make a person feel “stoned” or intoxicated. That’s because CBD and THC act in different ways on different receptors in the brain and body.

CBD can actually lessen or neutralize the psychoactive effects of THC, depending on how much of each compound is consumed. Many people want the health benefits of cannabis without the high – or with less of a high.

The fact that CBD is therapeutically potent as well as non-intoxicating, and easy to take as a CBD oil, makes it an appealing treatment option for those who are cautious about trying cannabis for the first time."

All this Cannabis support around the world seems to be 99 percent dopers.

I was recently in California it is legal just walk in like going to Starbucks and buy what you want.  Everyone in line looked mostly like a bunch of young stoners.

Just a bunch of "medicine" hype BS.

How could it hurt ? ????

Smoking pot gives you the munchies.  Cancer patients need to eat if they are to beat cancer.

Everyone needs to eat, if isn't a trait specific to cancer patients.

A single person feeling better for 24 days is hardly conclusive evidence.

The way this article is written is pure nonsense..she was treated with modern medicine and found unconscious, but cannabis oil made her better. That is pretty much the sum total of this article.

Good point.
Did she stop taking "modern medicine"?
If yes, that could have an effect also, or could be the reason that she became unconscious...????

On the other hand, in cases, where "modern medicine" cannot help – like for example terminal cancer patients – cannabis oil cannot harm, but might help, and prior scientific evidence or not doesn't really matter in such cases.

You're absolutely right. All of the articles I've seen so far have been about cannabis oils and extracts. I haven't seen any articles that say you'll be able to go to a dispensary, with a prescription, and buy buds.
