Two Chinese tourists riding on a motorbike in Rawai have sustained injuries after colliding with a power pole. One of them is in serious condition.

The Chalong Police were notified of the incident last night on Wiset Road.

Police and emergency responders arrived to find a damaged motorbike laying next to a power pole. A helmet was found nearby. Blood was also found on the road.

The two Chinese injured riders were taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital. One of them sustained serious injuries.

A witness told police that they were travelling from Rawai towards Chalong. When they arrived at a curve, coming down the hill at high speed, they appeared to lose control and collided with the power pole.

Police are continuing their investigation.

So either China has no hills or curves in the road or the rider was somewhat retarded.

My money is on the last option

Did they have insurance, or will the hospital bill be added to the O/A visa holders responsibility, when they must pay their phony insurance when applying for the visa?

Downhill, curve, high speed, in the dark, pillion rider(?), unknown territory.

(let's assume for now that the rider was sober)

What more does it need to the recipe for disaster?

No word about the type of motorbike?

If chinese people would be provided with videos of other chinese people riding motorcycles in Thailand, it might make them think twice about renting motorcycles in this country...

They are good at many things, but for some reason, riding motorcycles is not one of them...

It looks like they have picked up the reckless driving style very fast ????

Highly unlikely, no idea what they were doing and lost all control much more likely.
