Firslty I must say that the Crew from Nickys HandleBar do a great job and the various Biker clubs on the Island do make good contributions to fine causesl. I always stop by and enjoy s bit of the party if they are doing a Bash on Bangla. I only wish the same would occur when it becomes international...Phuket Bike Week needs a home. I thought they were doing well at the north end of beach road but seems the host hotel took a real trashing.........OTOPS was a good choice, lots of room not too much to be broken, the worst venue was the year they took over Soi Bangla with a stage and all. coolers of booze, private tables (no so says the Patong Police) and choppers running amuck in the crowd.

Now for 2007 is it going to be "what we we thinking" at Jungceylon...........Sure. How about choppers doing wheelies thru the court yard or trying to jump the canyon right in the center. I doubt that any participants will be interested in much other that fast food. I really am looking forward to see what creative methiodology will be applied to ensure the JungCeylon is standing after this event. Should they not take a lesson from the Andaman who fell victim to the games of a rather Infamous Internationl Club. I just hope that the Army rangers are not called out again to deal with the problems of recent times. The hotel where I "homestead" keeps off the radar of Bike Week but last year some people "Farangs from China" actually ex-pats working in China slipped into the hotel but found their reservatiopn cut short!

Can you imagine big bikes roaring thru the lobby of the Royal Pawadee whislt Khunying Pawadee is twisiting the ear of Prune de Crissy..........

Patong Bike Week..........I'm waiting with baited breath this year..... It has gotton more rowdy each year and now they are going to play in a spot where lots of things can get broken....... BTW...I hear that the bar owners in soi Sea Pearl are looking to block the entrance fomr a motor driven unites during Sonrkran. I remmber, a few years ago, it was par of the rout of water thrownin pickup trucks to do the loop thru the area.
