If you deported every poorly behaved drunk in Pattaya it would empty out very quickly.

So much better then. Who needs these kinds of people? Too drunk and behave badly,as well as have no money. The retard shouldn´t even be out travelling, and understand to stay home at the remote farm with mum and dad.

So anyone that gets a little pissed makes a mistake by making a total ass of himself, no violent behavioir, no thievery but should face deportation and blacklisted in your eyes. You plonker get with reality! Should deport you on a row boat into the Sea!

Yes. It isn't as if he was guilty of a single infringement. He is a guest in the country, and you know what, if I had one behaving like that in my home he would be tufted out.

A little pissed, he fell of his motorbike and was behaving aggressively.

You idea of justice is the unbalanced one!

Had he busted out a few Zorba the Greek dance moves instead , he might have made a few friends and become an online sensation

Although that guy was known to be bad tempered after a drink too!

The Aussie was wrong. Problem police should have determine his condition and the situation. Based on the story they ask him to pay a fine whether he had money or not isn't really relevant, so if he had money able to pay then it is o.k. for him to go and continue as he was doing?

He should have been told basically he was being arrested/detained by police gather the information and pass it on to the system for process if not let him go after he is sober and pay a fine.

If he gets physical and take off his shirt that is when you get the taser out wave the motorbike taxi brigade on the corner and they have a field day?

End of story then deport.????????‍✈️

Hopefully jail, followed by deportation.

Jailed and deported for what? Being argumentive? Being rude? Pointing? Taking his shirt off? He didn't assault anyone he didn't resist arrest. He was being a <deleted> and it'll cost him quite a few baht. Pissed up <deleted> are out and about in Thailand everyday.

if he 'is' actually an aussie, he is probably an immigrant, looks like a greek name ??

but yes, there is an alcahol/aggression problem in australia and NZ.

Pattaya, walking st. is far far safer at 3am in the morning than most parts of Auckland city...i worked early mornings in the city for last 3 yrs of my working life--truck deliveries.

He's born and raised in Australia and now lives in Pattaya. He wasn't aggressive he was argumentive and being a bit of a w**ker. Money will change hands and all will be forgiven.

Seems he is agitated with one particular cop that he claims that he has paid money too in the past.

If you've been in Thailand for a while you've paid money to 1 or 2 or more of the RTP for no reason other than being a "rich farang" it's why no one not even Thai's respect the RTP.

Do you know him then?

He's born and raised in Australia. I know him and he's a really good bloke, never seen him argue with anyone before, seems to have had a few too many.

You right , he was not born to mother who was an army hooker and a father who was a peasant soldier.

he was unfortunate enough to be born into a Normal european hard working family seeking for a better life .

just hate all the non real aussies , don’t you ????

You right, he's born and raised in Australia, he's usually a really nice, funny bloke I've never seen him argue with anyone before. Had a few too many beverages.

Closer inspection of his name might suggest a "recent Australian".

Certainly not of the stock of the hardworking Irish and Italian immigrants..

and of course, the scallywags our majesty sent to Australia on vacation back then.

You forgot the hard working Greek immigrants

Obviously something upset him. It's unclear about the earlier incident involving the motorcycle at the bar.

Who wouldn't get upset after being assaulted by one of Pattaya's finest?

Let's hope it was all sorted out at

'the office'.

Is there an ATM at the Soi 9 RTP office?

Wonder if illicit substances may have been responsible for the offensive behaviour mixed with alcohol

Can't blame drugs (including alcohol), it was self-inflicted.

We do not know but he could have been riding drunk and of charged with DUI, it could be enough to deny his visa extension. If immigration finds him menacing to Thai society for whatever reason they like , it is also enough to cancel visa and deport

do not forget , this is still Thailand not back home with step by step processes and appeals

Cash solves all problems here, you just have to do it before too much paperwork is done and too many hands come out to be paid.

There is one next door at the 7-11 and many in the adjacent Central Festival Mall.

This guy crashed into a load of parked bikes and the owners would also be after compensation.

Getting pissed is not making a mistake, drunks can make asses of themselves without getting violent, or stealing.

Why don't you read what I said before commenting! I said getting pissed and being stupid making an ass of himself! Obviously the stupid part was making an ass of himself!

Yes, unless you pissed off the wrong guy initially  and I can tell you cash does not always work.

hsving gone through Thai legal system , extending visa is a real pain . And I mean real pain and that is without pissing anyone off, having court order not opposing it and yet 1 year of headache and lots of “donations “

Step 1. Go to ATM Step 2. Withdraw a lot of money Step 3. Hand money to RTP Step 4. Wai and say sorry Step 5. Leave and don't do it again

Well he is way past that. He is arrested , whatever his arrest , bail is 150 000 not to stay in the cells. Passport also taken away.

Charged with drink driving ? Off to court on Monday if lucky.

charged with damaging property? Off to court hopefully Monday

charged with both and his bill will easily be close to half a million.
