I think you'll need to register the domain name you want if you want you (as you name it) direct domain! After that you can use dynamic DNS providers to re-direct the "traffic" to your own computer which need to be online 24/7 and that service you may get for "free"!

I using no-ip.com for a long time.

The Webserver is in my office, the Mailserver as well and even some more servers I running for our customers!

All registrations I use for my self and my customers are .com, .net and .biz registered names.

For my company and myself, I dealing with a lot of transfers of data, down- and upload. The connection is partly fixed IP and others dynamic IP's and even running Mailservers over dynamic IP's having any problems. The update of the changing IP (dynamic) is set to refreshing every 20 minute.

One time I've masured the Uptime and was getting a result of above 98%. Most of the Hosting Provioders guarant 99% uptime! The difference is just as little as 1% and this has for mostly, even SME servers nearly not any negative effect!

IMHO, I would suggest to forget registering/hosting your site through a Thai company!!!

Most of these "free" setups are just false economies with too many pitfalls. The four bucks a month saved just isn't worth it.

Prices for paid website space are so low, it hardly pays to use free providers.
