Email To Sms( Or To Voice) For Dtac User

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I dont have a pda nor avanced phone. Just an old mobile that is working fine (still) for voice and sms.

I dont need to send sms from my mobile, but only to receive sms alerts from a service abroad that only provides email alerts.

I am looking for a way to have these alerts sent to my mobile, either by sms or by a phone call (second option even better).

Thanks in advance!

thanks you have DTAC .. this is a micro-issue ;-)

send a SMS with the content R PinCode BirthDate to 199908

as example"R 1234 09111973" (your pin is then 1234 and you born 9th of nov 1973)

the system will reply you with successful signup

then send a SMS agan to 1999908 with the content "EMAIL ON"

after this you have a emailadress [email protected]

if someone send a email to this adress you will get a notify with a part of it as SMS ..

one thing .. the storage is only 5 MB ... so you need from time to time delete the junk

one more thing: .. the xxxxxxxx are your mobilenumber ;-)

and costs are 5 baht each SMS ... so the whole process will cost you 10 baht

all commands for the number are here :http://webmail.dtac.co.th/webmail_thai/helps/command.php
