Reigntax, I have a LOT of sympathy with your sentiments. I really do. Other posters will know that I frequently vent my frustrations over the inaction of the Thais - throughout the five long and dark years.

 

    BUT the Hong Kong people did not - and have not yet - faced massacres of their protesters. The Thais have experienced this numerous times. It naturally knocks the stuffing and backbone out of them. One must have some sympathy. What is required is the ultimate willingness to risk all - and most simply do not have what is required (maybe for most Thais, the situation is not dire enough) ...
