I'll be doing my first TM30 shortly, so what needs to go with the TM30 form?

We live in a rented house, the lease to which is in my wife's name.

From what I can ascertain so far, it's my passport photo page, my wife's ID card and the lease, all suitably signed.

Anything else?

I received a very helpful PM from someone who has recently dealt with NP Immigration and it seems they are not that interested in the TM30, but I'll do one just to be on the safe side. ????

Excuse my ignorance, where is NP imm?

If some members who deal with them can confirm that tm30 is not required then I suggest you don't do one.

No need to be on safe side.

Ta. I'm sure members who do extensions there will be along to advise if tm30 is required. Previously it was never required at CW imm bkk, now it is, hence has kicked off the numerous threads about this topic.

I think Jomtien is another imm office that does not require tm30.

The TM30 is only inspected at Extension time, or at 90 Day Renewal, or both?

In theory yes. That´s when you present yourself and sometimes need to have a TM30 done depending on whish Immigration Office you belong to.

However, now it seems like they go after landlords and inspect at any given time, so as the possessor also can be responsible for doing or not doing the TM30. Then it might, and can possibly, get inspected any given time.

One has to wonder..... if I did not read this forum I would have no idea about this TM30, so there must be thousands (?) who have no idea yet or are even aware about self reporting

Say what.....so for 7 years obtaining annual extension at CW no tm30 required and now is. I regard that as a change in the process.

From personal experience I can confirm that Jomtien does require a TM30.

Guess you are not using money in bank method for extensions since that requirement has changed at every imm office.

Yes. Would be great if there was current list of imm offices that do not.

Read one post from member stating that io told him tm30 was required both for return to home for both domestic and international. Wonder if someone using NP imm can advise the op.

My understanding, again from what I've read here, is that I need to make this TM30 report within 24 hours of my return to the house where we live.

I return on a Saturday, so I'll do it on the following Monday.

???? no problems with doing that.

Good for you to foresee the change to required money levels in bank post obtaining extension. Genius.

Just keeping 800k all year round.

I’ve had 800k baht in the bank since I started living here, more than 10 years ago. Wasn’t genius, just prudence. Lucky also that the baht has appreciated against my home currency.
