patsfangr
Does anyone know of a place that will take old, non-functioning electric and electronic items off my hands? I don't believe that the garbage collectors will take such things ... or will they? I have a computer, monitor, printer/copier, fans of various sizes, a bunch of miscellaneous wires, connectors, etc.. Some of those items may be of use to salvage for parts. Some are nothing but trash. So, any ideas on how to safely and lawfully dispose of these things?

lopburi3
There are people that live from such item collection. If you live in a city there will be trucks coming around asking for them and they will often pay a token amount. MC push carts are normally active all day looking for such items.
Thongkorn
We had the same problem with a couple of old mattress, A 100 baht note changed the local bin wagon drivers mind, Then the enterprising driver sold the mattresses a few doors up the road, Edited July 25, 2019 by Thongkorn
patsfangr
Thanks for the ideas. I guess I'll try to catch our garbage pickup truck, and persuade them to haul the stuff away.
