Sanook reported that a six wheel bus burst into flames in the middle of the night in Soi Sam San in the  Klong 1 area of Pathum Thani in the early hours of this morning.

The foam seats in the vehicle acted as a source of fuel. Fire fighters took just 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze.

Local man Attiwit Rakngam, 23, said he went to investigate on his motorcycle when he smelled burning.

The vehicle is owned by Chadon Thipsuwan, 40, and was in for repair.

It was locked and the battery had been removed from the vehicle ruling out a short circuit.
