Happy diving everyone ! :D

Here's some photos of commercial diving in the Gulf of Thailand. Better to be paid to do it than pay do do it.

If you're prepared to spend about 25,000 to 30,000 US dollars on the courses and don't mind hard dirty work then it's for you.. I can't even remember the last time i "scuba" dived for pleasure. Would perhaps take it up in retirement..

So nice to have our own forum!

David have a good cruise. The divers up there are having a whale of a time at the moment. Mantas everywhere with quite a few sightings of whalesharks. Although the saddest news I heard last night is that fishermen caught and killed a 3 meter whaleshark :o at Richelieu Rock.

Anybody else heard anything?

Thanks Chantal

It's going to be a 'good un' !

If that's true regarding the whaleshark that is sad news.

unfortunately to the fisherman a fish is a fish is a fish

the same way that you see leopard sharks and bamboo sharks hauled in regularly as well

its just baht from the local fish market for them
