How to get wifi in the airport?

Gonna arrive at BKK in a week, never been there or travelled before. I'm from USA so my phone wont work. How will I get temporary wifi when im at the airport? I'm meeting someone and will need to contact them

When you leave the USA, switch you phone to Airplane mode and then open your Settings and then open the Wi-Fi and search for Wi-Fi connections.  You should be able to find an airport Wi-Fi service. 

i mean when i arrive at the BKK airport, how do i get wifi? i heard they have a free wifi but you need a password, how do i get it

I don't remember being asked for a password, I think you just need to tap the button agreeing to the terms and conditions and you're in. 

 

None of the international airports I have been in have asked for a password for free wifi services.

If I recall you have to register. Passport number,E-Mail. No password involved.
