Hi guys/girls.

I have been exstending my non-o visa(dependant) for the last 4 years based on funds(400k) in a Thai bank. This year because of the current exchange rate (UK pound to Thai BHT) i would like to extend my visa using my school contract (English teacher) without showing funds, my school contract does not meet the required income level (45 K per month). Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for your imput,

                                                 kind regards Ian.

Where did you get the 45k baht number from? You only need proof of 40k baht income to apply for the extension of stay (it is not a visa) based upon being married to or being the parent of a Thai.

If you cannot meet the 40k baht income requirement your only option is the 400k baht in the bank for 2 months.

To prove your income from teaching you will need tax payments and your tax return for last year if you were working then.

Ok sorry, 40K not 45 K but to extend with just a contract (with no finacial requirements )

is not an option?

A contract is not enough. You have to prove your monthly gross income.
