Kalim-Patong traffic Woes

Just to warn anyone headed south from Kamala or north from Patong there are massive tailbacks both ways. The road is one way at the roundabout with 3 cranes at work working on the electric poles.

 

It took me 50 minutes from the bottom of Bangla to Kalim before and southbound traffic is backed up nearly 2km past the White Box. Not helped by the dickheeds in the outside lane forcing their way in at the end. Cops doing traffic control but its a case of 5 minutes traffic one  way then stopped again.

 

Anyone headed up or down the coast I suggest you go via Heroines. According to nes reports the work is due to continue until 8pm tonite.
