March 20, 200718 yr You need 3 years on the Non Resident visa, with the annual extension issued inside Thailand.
March 20, 200718 yr You are obviously, or almost, talking about Permanent Residence (PR) requirement of having been in Thailand for 3 consecutive years. This is required to be extensions of stay for one year at a time by Immigration - not one year visas. This is only part of the requirement and you should really read the pinned item at top of forum as without working here there is very little chance of PR for most people.
