How can I transfer 200.000 thb out of Thailand in case that my bank is not cooperative? Do I need a Fet form? I can proof that the money comes from Europe by my bankbooks. Does anybody knows WHERE we can change 200.000 thai baht into EUROOS for the best rate?

The line for questions is $50,000 US Dollars

I think you have nothing to worry about with your $6000

Should be simple at bank or just carry it ...6K is not much & no flag for any country

(meaning less than $10,000)

Send in Baht while it's high, deliver there in Euro's. Why would you buy Euros in Thailand now?

Doesn't sound like you understand how money transfers work out of Thailand whether doing it at a Thai bank, DeeMoney, etc.  Whatever currency you want to send out, such as Euros, you need to buy those Euros from the money sender using Thai baht.  Review the opening post...the OP wanted to use Thai baht to buy Euros to send out.

Now if you happen to have a foreign currency deposit acct with Euros then you can just send those Euros out.  But the OP has a Thai baht acct.

OK...I misunderstood your post where you started off by saying "Send in baht...deliver in Euro."  I guess that means is you used your baht to buy Euros to send out (deliver).

Find a trusted friend (or 2, 3) who wants to bring Euro's into THB, and do a deal at the mid rate.. that way you both maximise your funds.  Better than paying excessive fees to the robbing bankers... And immediate.

OP...Dont overthink this..................

200,000 Baht is roughly 5825 Euros

Take your 200,000 baht to a Super Rich or Vasu Exchange booth

Especially since Euros have 500 euro notes

That is barely anything to carry in your pocket

No worries ????

When I asked at my Thai bank about transfering money out of Thailand I was told providing I could show I had imported the money into Thailand I could send that money out of Thailand.

I have all my monthly receipts from my bank.

Exactly, why does the OP want to lose money and not do it this way????
