There are Semitic languages (mainly Hebrew and Arabic) but no Semitic people in modern times. In fact, there has never been a shared Semitic identity among Semitic-speaking peoples. When posters write that "antisemitism" refers to both Jews and Arabs, they are mistaken. In German and English, the word "antisemitism" and all its derivatives have only referred to hatred of Jews and never included Arabs.
