Comey should be behind bars for a long time.

You left out a few steps, indict/charge, have a trial, maybe convict?

Or are you proposing some sort of shade-tree justice?

Advocating the incarceration of someone before they've been charged with a crime seems, well, about as un-American as it gets.

Yes, I know "Lock -whomever we hate today - up" sounds spiffy at "rallies", but really? That's where you want to go?

Yes teacher, I know both the definition and the codes for treason and sedition.  Just stay tuned...

Stay tuned...brilliant rejoinder.

Which channel? If it's a Russian one it had better have English subtitles.

Honestly, if you understood the legal terms of treason and sedition you'd know they have rarely been charged, convicted, and are hardly applicable.

Spraying scary words around does not make you look good. Hopefully it makes you feel good though.

Not spraying scary words.

Trust me, I am not the least bit concerned of your opinion of me.  Yes, I feel very good about what I know, what I say, thank you.

Yes, you are right that treason and sedition have rarely been charged and convicted.  That does not mean that they won't ever happen.  Sadly, I doubt the conviction part down the road.

Yes, stay tuned to see what will be coming.

I think that they are still cleaning house of the deep state operatives.   AG Barr said it best when he said "I have more questions now, than when I took the job."  AG Barr has to clean out the deep state operatives, if there is a chance in hell of saving these corrupted agencies from the last administration.

And, I hope that those 14 Dems, pay the price to the full extent as well!  I think there will be much more on these folks to come.

QAnon much?

When Trump wasn't charged the right said no crime it's over. I think we should stick to that standard because fighting over this mind numbing tripe for any more than a couple of pages on one thread doesn't seem warranted. Once somebody is indicted it's a different kettle of fish however the presumption of innocence seems to only be taken seriously when it fits the agenda of one side or the other it seems.

The upper echelons of the FBI have not been this disgraced since J.Edgar Hoover and his katoy ran the show. Once again, the lizards of the D.C. SWAMP hate trump because he is actually cleaning their houses. We (USA) don't have enough Special Agents to track down all the sick players, such as Bernie's Son, the Clintons, the Obamas, et. al.

The grand wizard lizard is the current occupant of the white house. BTW, D.C. was built on a literal swamp so what do people expect?

riclag said it very well:   Stay tune, Fisa investigation coming soon.   Yes, stay tuned...

riclag rarely, if ever,  says things "very well". This one wasn't an exception. As for your posts, you're saying nothing.

I'm not sure you do know the definitions of sedition and treason or you would know it's almost certain that neither is applicable here.

According to the US legal website FindLaw, sedition is when two or more people:

Quote

- conspire to overthrow or destroy by force the government of the United States or to level war against them;

- oppose by force the authority of the United States government

- prevent, hinder, or delay by force the execution of any law of the United States; or

- take, seize, or possess by force any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof.

[...]

.. treason is the more-serious offense of actively levying war against the United States or giving aid to its enemies.

Based on everything I've heard so far, I seriously doubt what Comey et al have done, meets either of those definitions.

Comey is still under investigation by The IG. And the other prosecutor (I forget his name) This is only the first report out. Still to come .... Comey signing off on 4 unverified FISA’s, and frankly who knows what else.

My theory ... Barr is waiting for the meat and potatoes. Not procecuting Comey over leaks is a wise decision, it softens up the public, and news media.

I can can hear it now the news media praises Barr for making the right call, then when the hammer drops in a few weeks on Comey and McCabe, the media will be screaming what an injustice. We live in exciting times!

Difference is doj is saying: no crimes committed by Comey; and for Trump: we can not charge a sitting president. Big difference.

Simple slogans are great for simple minds.

Comey came out and stuck it to Hillary 2 weeks before the election, DT should kiss his foot.

Never lose sight that DT's rallies are arranged like TV show audiences, with a booster person urging them to applaud, boo, cheer etc on cue and giving them chants ("NO-BEL!").  Because these performances take place in arenas, I would think there are several of these people throughout the room.

I think DT should promote open-carry of firearms at his rallies, it would be a testament to his dedication to the 2nd Amendment and to making America great again.  Oh wait, I forgot, that's already been accomplished, now the struggle is to keep America great.  And if he should suffer a misfortune because of this, I have no doubt the outpouring of thoughts and prayers would be overwhelming.

Barr not prosecuting for comey doing nothing illegal is all a cunning plan?

Comey ended up being a sleazy weasel political hack, who tried to undermine a dully elected POTUS by using his power as head of the FBI!

 Rosenstein said:

"Its important for the DOJ to follow established policies and procedures, especially when the stakes are high".

That wasn't on this career professional 's agenda! His first strike was to help clear clinton by deciding the investigation results .Second was to violate FBI procedures to bring about the russian hoax special counsel investigation.

 Stay tune,Fisa investigation coming soon

You forgot the bit about comey helping trump getting elected because of the hilary email investigation.

you know, the big issue about them, the same thing as ivanka is doing.

" Trump said on Thursday: "Perhaps never in the history of our Country has someone been more thoroughly disgraced and excoriated than James Comey in the just released Inspector General's Report. He should be ashamed of himself!" "

The absurdity of the whole current US situation is summed up in this.  A brazen scofflaw as himself saying this, it's like a mob boss denouncing someone for unpaid parking tickets.
