i went out to gogo yesterday for the first time in nearly 1/2 year,

and the majority of drinkers are now asians, notably chinese.

this is very different from when i used to go out,

when on rare occasion i could see a <deleted> but the rest was white

no better way to start your day than throwing out a little casual racism.

in what possible way is that observation thai bashing ?

It is my impression that there are less and less people of Caucasian race in bars nowadays, and more and more Mongoloid.

Are they really Chinese, mainland ones? I am just surprised at that, and if truly Chinese I would expect more likely Singaporean, Taiwanese or Hong Kong origin. Or do you find it difficult to distinguish them from Japanese and Korean, who are also in abundance? It also depends which Go-Go you go to, some are very much Asian venues, there are a few more where European/ Australian will be 90%.

i think i am somewhat able to distinguish between

korean and chinese, but you are right, it could have been

sg or hk based chinese.
