Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha left parliament before the end of the Opposition debate today, to attend a Royal religious ceremony at Dusit Palace, without responding to opposition MPs’ queries about his incomplete oath recital, claiming he has the right not to respond.

Before leaving parliament shortly before 4pm, the Prime Minister told the media that he had already assigned Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngarm to respond on his behalf.

He said he would not return to parliament today adding that, by the time the ceremony ends at about 9pm, the Opposition debate will have concluded.

what is sad is he says the incomplete oath to the King and refuses to clarify why and by leaving Parliament early even though he knew that the Parliamentary debate was scheduled, but still wears yellow supporting the Monarchy

"claiming he has the right not to respond." Yes but the country should have the right on having him immediately resign but that is not going to happen. Don't think for one second those armored vehicles they purchased are for any exterior threats, and the other underlying factor is he really probably loves prancing around as the untouchable big shot. Just look at his wife's face every time there is a function or trip.

An incomplete oath of office given to the King without apology, explanation, or doctor's note looks to me like contempt and therefore lese majeste.

Some are  given full exemption.....wonder  why?

And they want to attract more foreign investment. By not swearing the oath, he doesn't have to abide by the constitution. And if he doesn't have to abide by the highest law of the land, what's to stop there being another Kingsgate scandal?
