Hahahahaha...so Joe Biden got the prosecutor fired because he was NOT investigating his son and Burisma?

Got it.

LOL

Hahahahaha...a Trump fan who thinks right-wing conspiracy theories are real news has been busted.

A little research would show you that while certain elements in the Ukrainian Executive branch backed Shokin, in the Ukrainian Parliament not so much. And amongst the populace, definitely unpopular because of his refusal to go after corruption. To his credit, though, he didn't entirely lack zealousness. He was dogged in going after anti-corruption forces. And when it was discovered that some of his anti-corruption prosecutors were in possession of large amounts of jewels, he responded by firing the prosecutors who were investigating them. And even when his investigation of Burisma, as desultory as it was, was active, it concerned events that took place before Hunter Biden joined the board.

The Poroshenko government reluctantly fired Shokin due to pressure not just from the USA, the EU, and the IMF, but also from other sectors of the government and outrage amongst its citizens.

Kevin Shipp is a former CIA Officer, intelligence and counter terrorism expert who had various high-level positions in the CIA. He is also a whistle-blower who has written a best selling book about his experiences as a real wistleblower. He has some rather negative views on how the Intelligence community deals with whistle-blowers who expose problems. His whistle-blowing had nothing to do with politics, rather health problems he and his family suffered because of an assignment.  (There, I wrote that myself, you can find the information everywhere, all from legitimate references)

If you don't believe Shipp, you should really question the current whistle-blower, who is deeply involved in politics.

You claim the whistle blower is deeply into politics. I assume you are able to give his/her name and link to a biography of their political views?

The whole issue of Trump, Biden, Ukraine, impeachment, etc is already a political story. He has blown his whistle on that story. I did not say he/she personally is involved politically. That is an unknown.

You don't think Trump yelling "Get him out of here" is suppression?

Give some examples of liberals desperately lobbying for suppression of voices and I'll comment.

I won't do your homework for you, heybruce.  And asking me to do so is not a sufficient excuse to use for your refusal to comment.

Since Trump feels so strongly about US-Ukrainian corruption links, I'm sure he's going to get all over on this right away:

Trump associates pressured Ukraine over gas firm in order to benefit allies: report

A group of President Trump's associates pressed Ukraine to install new management at the top of the country's massive state gas company last spring in order to benefit some of their allies, The Associated Press reported Sunday.

The businessmen and Republican donors touted connections to Trump and his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani while trying to funnel lucrative contracts to companies controlled by Trump allies, two people with knowledge of the plans told the outlet.

The plan was derailed by former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's loss in the 2019 election to Volodymyr Zelensky, whose conversation with Trump about former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden is now at the center of the House impeachment inquiry launched last month.

I'll wait a few days before commenting on the article.  These types of stories tend to fizzle out very quickly.

You posted " I'd like to see you comment on why liberals so desperately lobby for the suppression of voices" and then refuse to give examples.  As noted, you are the one skipping his homework.

I asked you to comment, heybruce.  You asked me for examples.  It's not my responsibility to provide examples for you.  Don't comment, then, and we'll leave it there.

I can.  Biden's machine has been scouring media telling them not to have Rudy Giuliani on their broadcasts.

We can leave it there.

Unless you want to argue the definition of "is."

Thats not suppression. They are just saying its not right to have a dementia sufferer acting like a 5 year old being taken advantage of.

But its ok if he is on the muppets.
